Glorbo's Extraterrestrial Biscuits
Glorbo's Extraterrestrial Biscuits is my third game, and was made in about 4.5 days for the Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2.
I Really like games like Inindo and Super Mario RPG on the SNES, basically, turn based RPG's. So, for this jam I decided I wanted to (try to) make such a game too :D
That game became Glorbo's Extraterrestrial Biscuits. Although it's not much, and full of bugs, because of my rushed spaghetti code approaching the end of the deadline, I'm pretty proud of the art, seeing as I had to draw everything with my mousepad, or on my phone, because it was too much of a hussle to take my drawing tablet with me on vacation. Anyways, no one probably ever reads this, so here are the controls :)

Controls:
Up: Up Arrow / W
Down: Down Arrow / S
Right: Right Arrow / D
Left: Left Arrow / A
Confirm (while in fight): Enter

Deadline
The file currently uploaded was uploaded during the bug fix period, because I forgot to do so before the deadline. This was also because I was participating in another tournament at the time, so I was pretty busy.
I also think this is kind of fair because I was at vacation in Switzerland at the time. We did a lot of hiking, which was great :D (only not for my submission for the game jam)
So in total I had about 3.5 days to work on the game, and with the bug fix period added and me having to travel all the way back to my hometown on the first day of the bug fix period, I worked about 4.5 days on the game which is (in my opinion) far lower than the 7 day deadline.
Now if an 'exception' would be made for me (sort of) updating the game during the bug fix period, everyone would start doing it and making up excuses, so I understand if I get disqualified. Participating is the most important after all :) (If you don't do it with a game that doesn't consist out of a 3 second dialogue)
Also, I just tested the game in Godot itself, and it appears the current file uploaded to itch contains some bugs, that aren't in the game file I have in Godot (and I haven't made any changes to it after submitting it at the time of writing this). This probably means that I uploaded the wrong version, and that some rather important features, such as the barriers which prevent you from going too far at the beginning, could be missing.. oops

Known bugs:
Enemy that spawns in the top left doesn't disappear if you kill it until all other enemies are killed.
All audio disappears after going left enough.
You can get softlocked in a fight when using the attack Poison Shot in a very specific situation which I forgot :/
There are definitely more bugs, so please let me know if you find one!
PS: Very sorry for all the people who get softlocked in the middle of a fight D:
